NBK Core Realignment Project
This project aims to transfer the bank core banking systems from traditional mainframe & client/server environments to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment.

• Migrate legacy components for the main banking channels like Online banking, online banking for corporate, CRM, etc... from VB 6.0 to Microsoft C#.
  

• Integrate the new components with banking system through web services.

Salary Automation & Processing System
The client, wanted to introduce a secure channel for his clients (companies, government, etc...) to automate salary processing.

The solution, develop a web-based file transfer facility that integrates into bank's Corporate Online Banking, and using middle-ware (BizTalk) to process salary files uploaded securely from bank's clients, and exposing web services to send salary information to the banking system on Mainframe.

IBM Rational Unified Process (RUP)
The Rational Unified Process (RUP) is an iterative software development process. RUP is an adaptable process framework. As such, RUP describes how to develop software effectively using proven techniques. While the RUP encompasses a large number of different activities, it is also intended to be tailored, in the sense of selecting the development processes appropriate to a particular software project or development organization. The RUP is recognized as particularly applicable to larger software development teams working on large projects.
